What this module is for
This is the module that the expensive bartending schools do not cover, and it is the place people actually get stuck.
A four-hundred-dollar certificate does not answer any of the following: which bars will look at someone with no bar history, what a barback actually does and why it is the usual door, how to build a résumé when the relevant experience section is empty, what a trail shift is testing, or what to say when a manager asks why they should take a chance on you.
Those are the contents of this module.
What this module will not do
It will not get you a job, and nothing here is a promise that it will. There is no technique that guarantees an offer, no résumé format that produces one, and anyone selling you one is selling you something.
What this module does is remove the parts that are unnecessarily hard — the ones where people fail for reasons that have nothing to do with whether they would have been good at the job. Being visibly unprepared for a trail shift is a solvable problem. Aiming at rooms that do not hire people at your stage is a solvable problem. Those are the ones worth solving.
